My Story

Hello, my name is Tina. And some people also call me Aneesha. My passport says Christina. But that wasn't my parents' idea. It was the registrar's wish to name me Christina and not Tina. So, take your pick.

And as I said, I love my freedom. And I love adventures. I spent a full 15 years of my adult life without working, that's how much I wanted to be free. To be able to flow freely and flexibly through life. And for 15 years, I indulged myself in this luxury (I inherited some good money).

Now in 2025, I sometimes wonder if that was really a good decision. Because somehow I forgot that I would eventually want to retire. But the ego is clever, isn't it? I kept pushing that fact into my subconscious. That's how strong my yearning for freedom was.

These days I tell those who ask that I brought my retirement forward. My circumstances made it possible. From 1999 to 2017, I lived abroad, primarily in Australia and India. I also spent months at a time in New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Greece, Portugal, Singapore, and the Netherlands. In addition, I visited many other places on shorter and longer trips. They were 20 carefree years.

But then, at the end of 2017, I was forced (long story) to return to Germany. And after settling back into German life for a while, it gradually dawned on me that I really needed to take care of my pension. I can't expect much from the state. (Aside from the fact that I wouldn't get much anyway, I seriously doubt whether my generation will ever receive a pension, because the system is simply broken.)

And that's why I'm so incredibly grateful for network marketing, because it's showing me the path to a very comfortable pension—definitely more comfortable than that of many retirees. And today, 20 years after my first experience in network marketing, I understand that it's not about me. It's about you! And your success!
